Exploring the quiet anticipation before connection…
Approach is a contemporary abstract painting that explores the quiet space before connection. Soft geometric forms, layered acrylic textures, and luminous color create a sense of movement, anticipation, and possibility. It began with two separate forms that seemed to be moving toward one another. Not everything needs to be resolved. This painting lives in that moment of possibility. Part of my Confluence series.
The paintings in the Confluence series are about living with complexity. I love those moments when things that seem unrelated suddenly belong together. In these paintings, color, line, and shape gradually find a common language—not by becoming the same, but by discovering how to live in relationship with one another.
