I started this painting with no particular plan, letting the lines, layers, and color lead the way. Some marks remain visible while others are buried beneath the surface, leaving traces of where the painting has been. As it evolved, I realized it reflected where I am, too—moving beyond my "new normal" and into a place that feels lighter, more hopeful, and open to whatever comes next.
